Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what ProbeWorks Solutions LLC ("we") collects when you use ClearSite, why, and who we share it with. It covers your account and the scans you run — not the third-party websites you point us at, which have their own policies.
1. What we collect
Account information: your email address, managed through our authentication provider. We do not store your password.
Scan information: the URLs you submit, and the technical signals and reports produced from scanning them. If you provide site or business details to tailor a report, we store those too.
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and limited metadata (such as the email and the fact of payment); we do not receive or store your full card number.
Usage and log data: standard request logs (IP address, timestamps, and errors) used to operate, secure, and rate-limit the service.
2. How we use it
To run scans and generate reports; to operate your account and provide monitoring; to process payments; to secure the service and prevent abuse; and to improve detection quality. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Automated report enrichment
To produce plain-language remediation copy, portions of a scanned site's technical findings may be processed by a third-party large-language-model provider. This runs only when you unlock a paid report, and the output is constrained by a deterministic framing guard so it describes observable facts, not legal conclusions.
4. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data with vendors who run the service on our behalf, under their respective terms: our hosting and database providers, our authentication provider, Stripe for payments, and the language-model provider described above. They may process data only to provide their service to us.
5. Data retention
We retain scans, reports, and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law. You may request deletion as described below.
6. Security
We use access controls, tenant isolation, and encryption in transit to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data and scans by contacting us. You can stop new scans at any time by not submitting URLs, and cancel monitoring from your account.
8. Children
The service is for business use and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
